Ray C. Carter, Jr.
President and Chief Executive Officer
With 17 years of experience in direct sales and marketing, Mr. Carter
is known for his ability to create and implement successful systems
and strategies in the consumer products marketplace. Respected throughout
the Direct Sales Industry, he is considered a top executive in the
field.
Mr. Carter joins StemTech to create the organization and strategies
necessary to launch cutting edge nutraceutical technologies utilizing
the power of direct sales distribution. He has extensive experience
with both private and public companies, from start up to Fortune
500. Mr. Carter is well versed in all aspects of corporate management
including product development, procurement, manufacturing, sales
and marketing, corporate administration, information systems and
finance.
Mr. Carter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
from the University of Maine and a Master of Business Administration
degree in Management from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating
with honors.

Christian Drapeau
MSc, Chief Science Officer
Mr. Drapeau is an author, research scientist and neurophysiologist
with over thirteen years of research experience in the fields of
natural foods and nutrition. He has lectured on nutrition to over
30,000 people since 1994, presenting profound health information
and insights with clarity and humor.
Mr.Drapeau has been the Director of Research at Desert Lake Technologies
since 2000, pursuing scientific research in collaboration with various
universities and research centers on the health benefits of certain
botanical raw materials. Based on research he produced, and information
he researched from other various scientific teams, Mr. Drapeau and
his collaborators recently proposed and published a breakthrough
theory on adult stem cell physiology, and is the co-inventor of
StemEnhance® .
Mr. Drapeau received a bachelor’s degree in Neurophysiology from
McGill University, Montreal, in 1987 and a master’s degree from
the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery from the Montreal Neurological
Institute, McGill University, Montreal, in 1991.

John W. Meyer
Vice President of Operations
John brings to StemTech over 27 years of experience with major direct
selling companies marketing nutrition and personal care products.
During his ten years with Shaklee Corporation, John was regional
operations manager, responsible for warehouse, distribution and
data processing networks. As Vice President of Logistics for MXM
Essential Formulas, he assisted in the start-up phase where the
company experienced major growth in its first year of operations.
At Arbonne, also as VP of Logistics, he re-engineered logistics
operations, planned a new state-of-the-art distribution facility,
implemented new software systems and handled all transportation
for a company experiencing massive growth.
John earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from the University
of San Francisco.

Errol C. Lester
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Born and raised in South Africa, Errol has nearly twenty years’
successful experience in starting and managing network marketing
enterprises. He has exceptional expertise as primary field leader
interface, and has opened new countries for two major industry companies.
While at AIM International as Executive Vice President, he oversaw
all things related to distributor relations worldwide and traveled
to conduct regional training events. While at Sportron International,
he was the General Manager for the company’s South African operation.
Errol's reputation for excellence is well-established and his ability
to communicate effectively with positive energy and integrity and
to build rapport, has made him a favorite with field leaders. He
holds a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, and has permanent resident
status in the United States, where he lives with his wife, a university
professor.

Brianne M. Rogers
Distributor Services Manager
Beginning as an Operations Manager for a major health and fitness
chain, Brianne was promoted to District Service Manager, with responsibility
for overseeing six health clubs in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Her district was ranked first in the State of California among over
40 locations. She then “found her true calling” and became the Customer
Service Manager for an LA-based direct selling company that marketed
consumer health care products. In this position, she hired and trained
all customer service representatives and handled distributor inquiries.
Intrigued by the opportunity to participate in the start-up of a
new, dynamic company, she relocated to Phoenix, where she assisted
in the creation of a direct selling venture, selecting vendors and
software systems while managing customer service and data entry.
Brianne brings to StemTech her solid experience in customer service
in the direct sales industry, and a sincere interest in providing
the kind of service that builds trust and confidence in the distributor
base.
The StemTech Story
StemTech HealthSciences was founded in 2005 in order to bring a
new breakthrough product technology to the marketplace. The beginnings
of this natural, phytoceutical dietary supplement started as a conceptual
theory in the mind of a research scientist at the turn of the century.
Prior to theory development, this scientist, Christian Drapeau,
accumulated many years of experience observing the apparent health
benefits derived from a remarkable fresh water plant. These beneficial
results intrigued this young neurophysiologist, and he began intensive
research to examine this phenomenon.
Initial results of this research lead him and his colleague, Dr.
Gitte Jensen, to hypothesize what appeared to be a very intriguing
theory involving adult stem cells, and how isolated extracts of
this aqua-botanical, seemed to work to optimize the natural behavior
of stem cells in the body.
In 2000, the two scientists shared their views with Howard Newman,
the owner of Desert Lake Technologies (DLT). DLT is a company with
vast experience in aquaculture and harvesting of this aqua-botanical
raw material. Together, this team ventured forward with the vision,
skill and courage required to undertake a radical, new way of thinking
about how the body keeps itself healthy. Using science to unlock
the secrets in nature, the theory began to take on a life of its
own.
In 2002, the theory was published in a
medical journal named Medical Hypotheses, while other scientists
from around the world also continued to publish research that further
strengthened what Drapeau and Jensen believed they had discovered.
In 2004, a U.S. patent was awarded to
these inventors, and further internal and external studies continued
to corroborate their position. Desert Lake Technologies was now
ready to transition from research & development, and bring the concept
and the product to market in 2005.
The company then turned to a top industry professional, an MBA
with a 17 year track record of success, to help guide them in the
strategic planning process. After many months of analysis, Ray Carter
recommended, and the team decided to form StemTech HealthSciences,
in order to launch the product through the power of the network
marketing industry. Mr. Carter accepted the company’s request for
him to organize and run the new company, as they targeted a market
pre-launch in the fall of 2005.
